現地時間2023年5月23日、マルーン5（Maroon 5）がアコースティックな最新シングル「Middle Ground」（ミドル・グラウンド）のミュージック・ビデオを公開した。
「Middle Ground」は、これまでの Maroon 5 とは一味違った楽曲となっており、アコースティック・ギターの弾き語りとシンプルなタンバリンの音色が重なり、Adam Levine が自問自答するような歌詞には、心の隙間や孤独感がにじみ出ている。「もろさ」や「人間性」をテーマにしたメッセージが詰まった1曲に仕上がっている。
マルーン5は、ブレイク・シェルトンがコーチとして出演する最後の放送回となる『ザ・ヴォイス』シーズン23の最終回でこの曲を初パフォーマンスする予定だ。
